PowerSchool Parent Portal Access

The administration and staff at A.C.E. Academy are excited to announce that parents/guardians can access student current grades and attendance via the internet in our PowerSchool Parent Portal.

All parents will receive a copy of login information for the PowerSchool’s parent portal. The parent portal allows parents to keep track of student progress in school.

To access this information you will need to follow these steps:
  • Open the internet browser on your computer.
  • Go to PowerSchool Parent Portal.
  • Click on Create Account.
  • Enter your desired username and password.
  • Enter your student's name.
  • Type your confidential ID and password exactly as they are printed below (both are case sensitive). You and your child have separate passwords. It is advisable that you keep your username and password secure and not share it with anyone else.
  • Login using the username and password you created.
  • View the information.
  • Remember to log off when you are finished.

Your Confidential ID: (School will provide this.)

Your Password: (School will provide this.)

Either you or your child may track academic progress from any location that has internet access. If you do not have internet access, the public library has computers open to access your child's records. Please keep your passwords confidential so only you can access the information.

The Grades and Attendance tab will allow you to check assignments and scores by clicking on the blue percentage across from a class. The Grades History tab will show you the grades your child received in previous grading periods. The Teacher Comments tab is used to access current teacher comments for your student and the School Bulletin tab has current announcements for our school.

Report Cards will be sent home at the end of each 9 weeks. This is a means of informing parents/ guardians of the student’s progress, or lack of progress, in each subject. Report Card dates are: November 3, 2017; January 26, 2018; March 29, 2018; and June 8, 2018.

*Kindergarten – Second Grade Students Grade Scale
When parents log in to the parent portal of PowerSchool to check student's progress, parents will see a number (4,3,2,1) with a percentage grade beside it. The following chart provides an explanation regarding the meaning of the number and percentages for K-2 students in PowerSchool.

With the K-2 grading scale, it is important for you to focus on the number (4,3,2,1) as opposed to the percentages in PowerSchool. The grading scale indicates student progress and mastery toward the expected standards for the grade level. An assignment may have a high percentage of items correct with the intent of checking for mastery of the standard. Do not assume that a high percentage of items correct on an assignment equates to above standard work.

If you have any questions regarding the use of PowerSchool please contact the school office at (704) 456-7153.

Thank you for choosing A.C.E. Academy for your child’s education!
