A.C.E. Academy has a School Improvement Team (SIT), also known as the School Leadership Team (SLT), that is made up of elected representatives from teachers, administrators, assistants and parents. At least one teacher from K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and exploratory/elective classes must be a part of the SIT team. One teacher assistant, one administrator, and at least one parent is also required to be on the team. The purpose of the SIT is to create or modify the School Improvement Plan (SIP) to improve school performance. This team is also responsible for bringing concerns or suggestions from their represented groups to be solved or addressed by SIT. The representatives are responsible for taking the information back to their groups on what was discussed or resolved. The school improvement plan is available on NCStar and all stakeholders have access to see the agendas and meeting minutes.

All meetings are held twice a month on Wednesday morning at 7:00AM. Parents, teachers, staff, board members and community leaders are welcome attend the meeting and or call in to hear and participate in the meetings.
