A.C.E. Academy is now accepting applications for students enrolling in kindergarten through 8th grade for the 2020-2021 school year.
Below you will find information regarding our enrollment process and requirements. If you are interested in starting the enrollment process now, please use the necessary forms to the right of this page. It is only necessary to complete the application in order to be considered for the lottery or entered on our waiting list. All other forms can be completed after your child's enrollment status is confirmed. Apply for Enrollment at A.C.E.
As a public, tuition-free charter school in North Carolina, A.C.E. Academy is open for enrollment to all residents of the state. We currently serve students in kindergarten (K) through 8th grade. We will gladly accept applications for K through 8th grade at any time. However, due to space limitations, we may not be able to accommodate every applicant we receive. In order to maintain fairness and equal accessibility, we have instituted the following policies and procedures regarding the application process at A.C.E.
Enrollment is available for grades kindergarten through 8th grade during the 2020-2021 school year. Open enrollment is begins November 1 of every year and usually ends early the next calendar year (i.e. open enrollment for the 2016-2017 school year began November 1, 2015 and ended January 31, 2016). Specific dates are posted annually below. During the open enrollment period, A.C.E. Academy accepts all applications to be entered in the school's public lottery. A.C.E. Academy's lottery is conducted early in the new year for the following school year. The lottery will take place on our campus located at 7807 Caldwell Road, Harrisburg, NC 28075. We will contact parents subsequently and notify them of their child's status.
We do not require parents/guardians to attend the lottery in order to be accepted. We will contact all parents within one week after the lottery via e-mail, phone call, or letter informing them of their child's enrollment status. All parents/guardians must confirm their child's seat by the posted deadline (which will be announced along with the lottery date). Parents/guardians must confirm their child or children’s seat by completing the acceptance letter that will e-mailed to them directly. Parents/guardians may send the completed letter back through one of the following methods:
If any child's seat is not confirmed by the deadline, their seat is forfeited and we will contact students on the wait list to give them an opportunity to enroll. If a child did not receive a seat through the lottery, we will place them on a wait list based on the date they applied.
We will add all applications and enrollment forms received after the enrollment deadline on a wait list in the order of the application date. If a student is not selected in the lottery, then we place the student on a wait list based on the application date during the open enrollment period.

A.C.E. Academy will maintain a wait list for any students not admitted during the lottery process. We will admit these students on a first come, first served basis when openings occur. We will automatically place applications received after the open enrollment period ends in order of application date.
